Splendido colore Vintage Cream, cardigan stile nonno in lana lavorato a mano,Was in Dublin for BC/Georgia Tech game and ate here based on a recommendation from a friend. Our experience was top notch. The seafood is tremendous- swordfish, hake, crabmeat, oysters - all wonderful! Great waiter and excellent service. Loved the decor, as well!

Love in form of a no frills, fresh calamari sandwich at an unbeatable price. Sit amongst locals & smart tourist that are not afraid to chill and venture.
Oh how I wish I could have this sandwich every day although, I am not much of a traditional seafood enthusiast. The freshness and simplicity of this sandwich will make you an appreciate calamari if you don't already.
The calamari is mildly fried in front of you as you wait, it is so simple, buttery soft & delicious.
This place has a line out the door but an easy and quick service to match for $3 euros, you can indulge in this massive delight that it lightly fried and all you add if you like is a simple squeeze of fresh lemon if you please. We also ordered patatas bravas for $2 which ar potatoes in a simple mild hot sauce. On both visits we were given a free tapas. The first time was a potato omelette which was stellar, the following time were were gifted a simple potato salad & although it does not look like much, but boy are looks deceiving, it was absolutely top notch great.
I suggest you either order a cola for a 1 euro to wash it all down, or a $1 cava which is the local beer. This meal is totally sharable but if you are starving, you can have your own sandwich and may not be able to finish it either. So if you find yourself in Madrid Spain and want to try the really real, La Campana is the spot

Botin's claim to fame is being the oldest restaurant in the world.
They tend to sit tourists in the front, so you don't get a great feel of how old the restaurant really is.
Staff are a bit stiff.
Known for their suckling pig- i thought it was just okay.
Great place to experience the environment once, but certainly not a place I would come back to multiple times.

I have a different spin on Brookfield Place. I used to work there. I worked for a major Canadian bank for roughly seven months. This bank has offices scattered throughout the downtown core. We occupied the ninth floor.
I loved the location. I'd take the GO train from Markham down to Union Station, and take the PATH briefly to Brookfield Place. There are a bunch of elevators that don't all go up to the same floors. You need to find the floor interval that suits where you want to go.
If you are a visitor, Brookfield Place is beautiful. I remember taking a couple of Swedish colleagues to a Toronto Maple Leafs game and we passed by my old workplace. The Hockey Hall of Fame is located in Brookfield Place. I suggested that they go, as they were huge hockey fans like I am. They went the following day and absolutely loved it.
My love for Starbucks is due to working at Brookfield Place. I'd drop downstairs to get a drink and take a breather.
It's convenient to do a bit of shopping or grab a bite to eat. There's a food court where there are many fast food eateries. I'm sure they have changed since I was last there. There is also a Longo's Market. I'd often get cubed fruit, such as watermelon and cantaloupe, that was easy to eat at my desk to keep me content throughout the afternoon.
There used to be a Marche, where you can choose from sandwiches and hot meals. I don't think it's there anymore, but it was awesome.
The top floor is where you get to see the high glass ceiling and gorgeous architecture. I didn't appreciate it when I worked here because it was a fairly crazy time in my life working full-time and doing a master's degree part-time. However, when I have returned as a visitor, be it during Nuit Blanche or when I'm heading to Scotiabank Arena, I appreciate how beautiful the crystal cathedral of commerce is.
My favourite memory will always be lining up with a few colleagues to get a free heart rate monitor on the first floor of Brookfield Place. We enjoyed missing a bit of work, chatting with one other, and getting a health gift in return. I gave mine to my parents and they still use it to this day.
I miss Brookfield Place and the various giveaways that take place. I don't miss the job that I had or the stress that I had experienced. Luckily, I do get to drop by whenever I'm attending a concert.

Only came here for drinks but was really pleased with my time here. Fun, energetic and great atmosphere, the Lord Nelson is really one of the best pubs I've been to. Decent price for drinks, plus they have a special student discount on one brand of beer which is actually pretty decent.
The walls are covered in fun decoration (Noel Edmund's face?!?), the music is great and they have a nice little beer garden as well. Staff were friendly and chatty too, and overall, very enjoyable time here as I caught up with friends
Didn't have a chance to try the food here, but it's on my hit list to do so and come back as some of the items sounded impressive and tasty!
